Delight Branch Library is located in downtown Delight, Arkansas, and serves several communities and rural areas in Pike County and adjacent regions of Southwest Arkansas. The Library offers books, Internet access, an Early Literacy Station for toddlers through sixth grade, and a Summer Reading Program for children in preschool through 12th grade and for senior adults. We also offer monthly events and workshops of various kinds featuring local authors and artists, all of which are free to the public. Most events don't require you to sign up ahead of time; simply show up and enjoy!
Some of our upcoming events are listed below, and you can also visit us on Facebook for information. In the past few months, we have held a series of workshops and exhibits. Penny Richards taught a series of workshops on the art of novel writing, Brent Alexander held a wonderful exhibit and roundtable discussion for photography lovers, William Woodall held a workshop on poetry, and Dorothy Rose conducted an exhibit of her artwork and a workshop for children's art.
